Nuremberg is a large city probably best known to Americans as the site of the post-WWII Nuremberg trials. However, it has a storied history. It was a very prominent city of the Holy Roman Empire.
We spent the morning touring the Nuremberg castle, one's of whose claims to fame is that it was never successfully taken.
There is a family connection to Nuremberg. Robert's mother (and her family) is from Fürth, a suburb of Nuremberg. Henry Kissinger also hails from there.
