July: Trip to Victoria
Just after Sharon's birthday on the 4th of July we took a quick trip to Victoria, BC, a city we hadn't visited in a long time but remembered fondly. We took the Washington State ferry from Anacortes to Sidney, BC, which involves a beautiful several hour voyage through the Gulf Islands.
We stayed in a very nice B&B close to the harbor, and took our first trip to Butchart Gardens, a simply lovely spot outside of Victoria proper. The place was simply stunning!
