August-September: ALF Wilderness Experience

Robert participated in a year-long program called the American Leadership Forum. The class of nearly 30 participants met roughly monthly for a day-session. The intent of the program was to identify and nurture community leaders. Each class spends about six days in a "wilderness" experience (quotes because it isn't truly a "wilderness" we were going to). Given that most of the participants are white-collar professionals and are often not young, the experience can be difficult.
